What is 0.0005 in the scientific indicator?

5 * 10 ^ 4

W to find it:

Move the hostile point 4 times to the right so that it changes to 5 instead of 0.0005.

Then write the equation: 5 * 10

Count how many times you moved the decimal point (4 times in this case)

How you determine whether the cost is negative or positive depends on how you move the decimal point. If positive, it moves the decimal point to the left. If it's negative, move to the right.

Since in this case you are moving the decimal point to the right, your answer is = 5 * 10 ^ 4

But I helped!

5 x 10 minus 3

5.0x10 4

(Slide the decimal to get more than or equal to and less than ten. You get 5. The number of shifts determines the emission, which is 4. If you move it to the right. So, that's negative.)

0.0005

0.0005

5. 10 ^ 4

5x10 ^ 4

Move the decimal from right until the first number other than Z moves to the right of that decimal. The number to move the hostile point to the right is included in the 10 ^ x section. Then

0.5 5x10 ^ 1

0.05 5x10 ^ 2

0.005 5x10 ^ 3

.

.

Etc.

5x10 ^ 4

But I helped

5.1 * 10 ^ 4
