How long do Bilstein shocks last?

If you garage it most of the time and are mostly highway driving, no towing, and drive like a grandpa/grandma, then 100K seems quite reasonable. I have about 20K on my 5100s and they feel as good as when I installed them. I’d expect them to last at least 75K.

What model Bilstein shocks do I need?

If you are looking to improve the vehicle handling you should consider B6 or B8. If you want to retain the vehicle ride height or you do a lot of towing and want a firmer rear suspension the B6 is for you. If you have a lowering springs fitted to your car you need B8.

These shocks are a great way to go. and less expensive than other options. Way better than spacers, they mess with the suspension travel, these shocks don’t. I definitely recommend these shocks with or without the adjustable kit and stiffer springs that I needed.
