How does Tina measure current?
You can use the current arrow or amp meter to measure current. The waveform will be plotted in the diagram window. The oscilloscope does not have a current probe option.
What is transient analysis?
Transient analysis is the analysis of the circuits during the time it changes from one steady state condition to another steady state condition. Transient analysis will reveal how the currents and voltages are changing during the transient period.
What is DC analysis?
DC Analysis calculates the DC operating points of circuits. You can use DC simulation to generate data on plots, for example, the IV curves of a transistor and annotating DC values on a schematic. It is also the first simulation step when performing other simulations such as linear, harmonic balance, or transient.
What is Tina Pro?
Product Description. Description. Tina Design Suite is a powerful yet affordable software package for analyzing, designing, and real time testing of analog, digital, VHDL, MCU, and mixed electronic circuits and their PCB layouts.
What is hspice simulation?
HSPICE is an analog circuit simulator (similar to Berkeley’s SPICE-3) capable of performing transient, steady state, and frequency domain analyses. Existing SPICE decks created for SPICE- 3 can be easily modified to run under HSPICE, or can be rewritten to take advantage of features not available in SPICE-3.
Is PSpice for TI free?
Overview. PSpice® for TI is a design and simulation environment that helps evaluate functionality of analog circuits. Available at no cost, PSpice for TI includes one of the largest model libraries in the industry, spanning our analog and power portfolio, as well as select analog behavioral models.
Is Tina simulation free?
TINA is a product of DesignSoft exclusively for Texas Instruments. This complimentary version is fully functional but does not support some other features available with the full version of TINA.
What Tina means?
Tina is a female given name. It is diminutive for names such as Albertina, Bettina, Christina, Christine, Kristina, Martina, Valentina, Faustina, etc. In Finland and Estonia, the name is written as Tiina. The word itself may have originated from Old English Tyne/Tyna/Tina, meaning river.
What is transient and transient analysis?
What can you do with Tina-Ti?
TINA-TI provides all the conventional DC, transient and frequency domain analysis of SPICE and much more. TINA has extensive post-processing capability that allows you to format results the way you want them. Virtual instruments allow you to select input waveforms and probe circuit nodes voltages and waveforms.
What is a TINA-TI model?
TINA is a product of DesignSoft exclusively for Texas Instruments. This complimentary version is fully functional but does not support some other features available with the full version of TINA. For a complete list of available TINA-TI models, see: SpiceRack — A Complete List.
How can I get the same results in Tina?
You can get the same results using Transient analysis and Simulated Virtual Oscilloscope in TINA. The virtual Oscilloscope is closer to practical measurements and can be very well used for interactive fine-tuning of circuits, while the Transient Analysis is simpler to set up and it is the only tool for analyzing large circuits.
What is the difference between the virtual oscilloscope and transient analysis?
The virtual Oscilloscope is closer to practical measurements and can be very well used for interactive fine-tuning of circuits, while the Transient Analysis is simpler to set up and it is the only tool for analyzing large circuits. Watch our tutorial video to learn more.
