Can anyone tell me on which island the beach scene in Trn rds was filmed (name Matlock Isd)?

It's called Matlock Island in the movie and someone called me Tasmania, but I wanted to know where to go.

The beach was partially filmed on Maya Bay, opposite Phi Phi Le. The beach and the main island are in different places on different islands (actually they do not exist as shown in the movie). You may recognize Maya Beach, but don't expect a large beach, the sandy area is quite small and is usually full of tourists and long-tailed boats. it is very difficult. Even if you are looking for a nice beach, the nearby town Phi Phi Don is great and has lots of cheap beach options. Hmmm ... I want to go there alone ...

Not sure, maybe it's just a fake name, but I think Megan was in Darwin with some friends at the time, so maybe I'll try to see a map of the area. Good movie and I cried. Ever since I saw him in the early 80's.
