Definition of Perspective projection:
Geometric drawing that mimics how objects look to the human eye (see perspective). In this projection the dimensions cannot be scaled because the different parts of a depicted object are at varying scales.
A form of projection in which a three-dimensional surface or object is represented as seen from a particular viewpoint, with parallel lines in the object represented as converging in the image.
