What is the alternative to tomato broth? ۔

I'm making Spanish rice and I want tomato broth but I don't have one ... can I use it?

Add some tomato paste (about 1 tablespoon) to the broth / water you used to cook the rice. If you need to store 2 cups of tomatoes in your rice, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste to the mixture for 2 cups and fill with the rest of the water and mix well.
