What glue will stick to clay?
The best glues for gluing clay is PVA Glue, Epoxy Resin, or Gorilla Glue. For Air-Dry Clay either of these glues will work perfectly. PVA Glue, however, will not work well on Polymer Clay. So for gluing Polymer Clay either Epoxy Resin or Gorilla Glue are the best choices.
Can you seal air dry clay with Elmers glue?
One of the sealants that can be used is *permanent* white glue (like Elmer’s GlueAll or regular Mod Podge, etc), but others will work too and be permanent after drying or curing and often better, like polyurethane, clear fingernail polish, and even epoxy resin.

Craft Glue There are many types of craft adhesives, such as tacky glue, super glue, decoupage glues, and others. These can also be used on clay and are made to have a stronger, more lasting bond than PVA glues. Unlike an Epoxy, only one substance is needed to repair broken clay when using a permanent craft glue.
How do you stick clay back together?
To bond uncured polymer clay to another piece, it’s best to use liquid clay or other bakeable glue such as Kato Poly Paste or Sculpey Bake and Bond. To bond two pieces of cured polymer clay that will not be baked again, use a flexible superglue such as Loctite Gel Control, Zap-a-Gap, or Gorilla Glue GEL Superglue.
Can I use flour as clay?
Store-made clay can be expensive, but it’s easy to make clay at home with just flour, salt, water, and vegetable oil. Also known as salt dough, the clay can be shaped into any form, baked, and then decorated with acrylic paint.

What kind of glue can you use with polymer clay?
Many aren’t necessarily meant for use with polymer clay. Gorilla Super Glue Gel, Loctite Super Glue Gel Control and Super ‘T’ were amazing in adhering both the polymer clay discs and the metal washers to polymer clay. Zap-A-Gap was also amazing in adhering both polymer clay and metal, except on Cernit.
Can you use polymer glue on non polymer objects?
You can use this glue AFTER baking to attach non-polymer objects as this glue dries completely clear in thin coatings. Please note, like white school glue this is NOT a liquid clay substitute. This glue is NOT to be used to seal polymer clay or use as a coating in the same way that you can use liquid clay.
What kind of glue to use on paper boxes?
PVA glue is also a nice glue to seal paper boxes and forms if you’re going to cover them with polymer clay. Doing this makes the paper non-porous and gives a surface the clay will bond to easily. It’s also nice when gluing polymer clay to glass. By the way, you can bake PVA glue at polymer clay curing temperatures.
Can you remove adhesives from polymer clay?
The polymer clay discs were somewhat more difficult to remove. The adhesives were all completely dry. There are circles of adhesive left on the clay strip, so it appears I had good glue coverage. Of those that popped off, many washers and had no visible glue residue.

What kind of glue to use on paper mache?
White Glue: Elmer’s Washable School Glue. Long ago, before the advent of liquid clay, polymer clay was attached to paper mache, tin, and other objects using white glue. To this day I will still use Elmer’s Washable School Glue when I cover paper mache boxes, joining clay to wood, or any other porous material.
