What is Nike LunarTempo?

The Nike LunarTempo 2 is a lightweight cushioned trainer designed to hug you feet. Nearly identical to the previous model, the LunarTempo 2s are built on top of squishy Lunarlon foam, and encase your feet in Nike’s seamless Flymesh upper with Flywire Cables.

The new proprietary Nike Flymesh is an engineered material that features a seamless lining and breathable top mesh for lightweight comfort. This new method of making allows designers to strategically place performance features where needed. LunarTempo tuned for every distance, every speed and everyday training.

The Flyknit gets structure from the density of the knit and the Flywire, while the Flymesh has layers of material and foam that create the fit. Regardless of which shoe you choose, you will need to go up a half size from your regular trainer size.

The fit is also quite narrow and there is no wide option available, so those with wider feet may need to upsize, though this defeats the purpose of the close-fit.
