Who owns norwesco?

In 2008 we were acquired by Olympus Partners and became part of Tank Holding Corp. along with tank manufacturer Snyder Industries. Our current financial partner is Olympus Partners.

Are norwesco tanks safe for drinking water?

Yes, it is safe to store water in the Norwesco above ground tanks and below ground cistern tanks shown on our website. The resin used to manufacture these tanks meets FDA specifications for safe storage of potable water.

What is the difference between green and black water tanks?

Color: Water storage tanks are typically made available in darker hues, i.e. black or dark green. This is because water can contain algae and bacteria, which are light sensitive. The darker colors prevent sunlight from getting into the tank, which in turn inhibits algae growth.

Are nornorwesco polyethylene tanks safe?

Norwesco polyethylene (poly) tanks are manufactured by means of the rotational molding process, which produces a one-piece, seamless, watertight tank. Linear poly tanks are molded from 100% FDA approved materials and are therefore safe for storage of food products and will not impart any taste or residue.

When did Norwesco change its name?

The name was changed in 1973 and at that time Norwesco was ranked as one of the oldest and largest plastic processors in the United States.
