Why is my Arlo firmware not updating?
A simple reboot should do the trick, not a full power cycle. The only thing i’ve found that resolves the problem is to power off the base until, wait about 20 seconds and power the until back on. Difficult if the base unit is in a remote location. Not sure why Arlo has such restrictions on firmware upgrades.
Why does my Arlo keep saying getting status?
It’s likely a bug in the app (android, not sure iOS) rebooting base station and resetting cameras does nothing for it. Uninstalling and reinstalling app (android) will fix it momentarily, it comes back within a few times accessing app.
